Convovo is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not collect or store your name, email address, IP address, or any personally identifiable information on external servers.

However, the following information may be collected automatically:

• Crash logs via Apple/Google diagnostics
• Anonymous usage metrics through analytics services
• Device information (model, OS version, language)
• Difficulty preference and focus area selections

2. How We Use Your Data

The anonymous data we collect is used to:

• Monitor app performance and diagnose crashes
• Understand usage patterns to improve the app experience
• Optimize subscription offerings

Analytics data is anonymized and is never used for advertising or sold to third parties.

3. Local Data Storage

All of your personal progress, including lesson completions, XP, streaks, achievements, and preferences, is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

4. Third-Party Services

Convovo may use the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store — for app distribution and payment processing
• RevenueCat — for subscription management (anonymous user IDs only)
• Expo — for push notification delivery (device tokens only)

These services operate under their own privacy policies. No personally identifiable information is intentionally shared with these providers.

5. Camera & Photo Library

Convovo requests camera and photo library access only for the IRL Challenge selfie feature. Photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties. You can revoke camera access at any time through your device settings.

6. Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, Convovo will send you streak reminders and daily motivation prompts. Your device token is used solely for notification delivery. You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings or your device settings.

7. Children’s Privacy

Convovo is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete all local app data by uninstalling the app or using the in-app reset feature
• Request deletion of any analytics data by contacting us
• Opt out of push notifications at any time
• Revoke camera and photo library permissions through device settings

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
